I have a friend who started to develop dry itchy purple patches on arms, torso, legs, back; they appear round and range from dime size to larger irregular shaped. Could this be eczema or something warranting a trip to docs office. What concerns me is that they are dark colored and he is of light brown complexion. Not a pretty site. He states they itch like the dickens! Any help would be appreciated!
