I Have High Blood Pressure 140/100
Good evening. I am 28, male.Recently I had stomach pain . A 24X18 mm size Simple Exophytic cortical cyst on the mid pole of the left kidney was seen. I have High Blood Pressure- 140/100 I have asked my urologist to take a look. He said it is fine and needs no further treatment. Please advice me as how to get back well soon and also on the diet to follow. Chandra

you need to be investigated further to find the cause for your high blood pressure. however, this cyst of yours id an essentially normal finding and nothing needs to be done about it. just forget it.

I think your blood pressure is due to kidney problem,
Go for S.Creatinine and blood urea to know the kidney damage.if any.
Take medicine for BP as 140\100 is more at this age.
Go for S.Cholesterol and lipid profile.
Take less salt and fatty food.
Do some physical exercise.

Simple cysts are usually benign and do not cause harm. Regarding hypertension you will need follow daily exercise, avoid consuming junk and fatty food, drink enough water, avoid smoking and drinking alcohol. The high BP is not related to the cyst. Visit your Physician to advise you on management of high BP. Also do Renal function tests to confirm no damage to kidney by hypertension.
