I have 8 infusions weekly starting on Tuesday after I relapsed from multiple myeloma after having a stem cell transplant only 3 1/2 years ago. I was diagnosed on Nov. 2014 and had 28 rounds and a stem cell transplant to same my life. My therapy drug will be velcade, which is what I used in 2014-15. They told me I had several options, but only gave me velcade. Is this normal for relapsed patients (first relapse).

Thank you, I have been having iron infusions for the last 3 yrs. and wishing I could find a reason for the iron dropping down as low as 3 all within 3 months after infusion. Are there any other answers to keeping my iron at a normal rate......my age is 69 ......and now I am finding it very hard to accept the iron in my system. I have resorted to cutting the iron in half at a time and by dividing the amount in half for the first time I am not feeling so ill (3weeks when full amount is administrated at one time)......consequently feeling better after half of the latest infusion...... I am very dizzy and weak and tired of course .....it is hard to have a life . Three years seems to be a long time with no answers. Any suggestions.

I have anemia and have received my first iron infusion last Tuesday. I was working outside in my flowerbed, leaning over digging. When I raised up I got lightheaded, dizzy, then all sound started to get muffled. After leaning or sitting down and taking some deep breaths, the muffled went away replaced by a ringing. Is this a part of the anemia?

I had a reclast infusion 2 monts ago. Day after I started in with a throat cough/ col. Cold went away in few weeks but the cough is still there, not as bad as at first, but still persistant. Does this sound like a side effect of the Reclast? If so , how long does it normally last, and lastly, how to treat the cough?
