I Have 2 Big Overian Cysts For A Year Of Same Size. Do I Need To Operate?

I am 29 year old, having baby girl of 3 months,I come to know during pregnancy that i have 2 big overian cysts, (9 cm each) i got normal delivery. after delivery i went again for checkup after 2 months, but still i have cysts with same size(Chocolate cyst)with solids. can u pls advice me should i go for surgery or no, can i wait for another one year for surgery. pls advice me

I think you should wait for them to reduce in size, the cysts during the pregnancy are common and normal. they usually reduce in size after the delivery, iS it happning to you? Chocolate cysts are to be followed more closely and if there are no prblmes of pain and more bleeding during the periods then it is just fair enough to follow up and nothing else.

You should definitely go for surgery. As they are chocolate cysts and quite big in size, it requirs laparoscopic evaluation of abdomen and removal of cysts. These cysts may interfere with your fertility in future if are not operated for the same.
