I had successful lower back fusion in 2012. However intermittent

I had successful lower back fusion in 2012. However intermittent burning pain around my front thigh continues if I walk more than 15 minutes, especially on concrete surfaces. Also no bending, even slightly as in pushing a shopping cart or washing dishes. Trying to find out about where this pain originates I can only find out about sciatica. Where does this pain come from?

Hi. In 2012 I had a very successful lumbar laminectormy with fusion. Four weeks ago, I fell... very hard and IMMEDIATELY felt a sharp pain in my lower back, left side. I saw my Primary Care physician and was told that I had probably damaged some ligaments and that I needed to give it time to heal and to gently perform a a back exercise. That was 1-1/2 weeks ago and the simplest daily chores cause pain. Sitting, standing, turning over in bed - all cause me pain. I CAN say that the areas where my hips connect seem to be better, but simply bending or stooping still cause great pain in the area of my lower spine. Should I have had an xray to rule out any serious damage? I am 59, prior military, in relatively good shape (except for this), and I realize I don t heal as quickly as I used to, but this is beginning to wear me out!

Hi I am a 41 year old man who bulged a couple of lumbar discs 15-20 yrs ago at work. just recently approx 4-6 weeks i had a fall at the same workplace and landed fair on my bum. since then my back is killing me. I have had CT and MRI and bone scans which show DDD and annulis tears and both levels. the pain I am getting is lower back but also groin type pain. A sick pain that doesnt ease.I have a strong/high pain theshhold and dont like opiates at all. I had cabbages 3 years ago and was back at work in 3-4 weeks. I am not off work and have no intention of having time off. i have seen a Neuro Surg who has recommended a fusion l5-s1 and replascemnt l4-5. I can function at present but not at the level i want to. I coach footy, ply golf and have three full on kids and all of these are suffering. What shoulf I do?
