I had my uterus and cervix removed 10 years ago.For about the past 6 months, I have been having a light brown discharge on mypanty shield. For the past week,I’ve had irritation in my vaginal area when I walk. I bought Replense which is a lube for menopausal women( I’m 57) After I inserted the gel, I removed the applicator and at the tip of it, there was a dark yellow discharge and a brownish streak on it. I went to the er last night and they did a ct scan and said they saw no mass. But 1st doctor inserted a speculum and said he saw a yellowish glob in there. Then shift changed and a new doctor came in. He said “since I didn’t see inside, can I do an exam? “ I approved and started SCREAMING from the pain of the speculum being inserted and opened. I screamed from the pain the entire time and he took a swab of the yellow distance from the right side. He said my vaginal walls looked as if I had road rash with tiny pin pricks of blood on them. My urine had some white blood cells in it and the Sean was negative for yeast or anything. He gave me a week of Flagyl ( which I know I’m not allergic too. He said “Please follow up with your gyn asap. Do you think he saw ovarian cancer and wanted a gynecologist to tell me instead?

I had a hysterectomy 3 months ago and I just had an ultrasound for pelvic and back pain which showed a cyst on my right ovary. What does your body do as far as menstral cycles go when you no longer have a uterus or cervix? I still have my ovaries- will I continue to ovulate every month until menopause? I had previously been on birth control pills for 25 years prior to my surgery. Could going off of them create cyst on my ovaries?

I am 34 years old and 10 weeks pregnant. I have an incompetent cervix (required cerclage to carry my son to term), a retroverted uterus and hr Negative Blood Factor. I had an abortion in 2001 and the doctor strongly recommended that I do not have an abortion again. I would like to continue my pregnancy but my boyfriend has some doubts. Considering these factors, would a doctor recommend that is safe to perform an abortion?

Uterus shows a small nabothian cyst at the cervix. Endometrium with a double wall thickness of 9 mm with no endometrial fluid collection or discrete mass. 2. Left ovary apparently has been removed. Prominent pelvic vasculature on the left suggesting pelvic congestion. 3. The right ovary appears to be lobulated or bilobed and measures up to 4.1 cm. There is a simple 7 mm cystic area at the inferior margin of this. The right ovary appears more lobulated than what was seen before. I would suggest close followup with ultrasound in 3-4 months as it is possible that there is a nodular density adjacent to the right ovary as opposed to the ovary appearing bilobed. An endometrioma could have this appearance. Close followup is warranted. No evidence for ovarian torsion on the right. I am 49 years and in overall good health, low BMI and non smoker.
