welcome to HealthcareMagic
The corn is a difficult thing to remove as most of the time small part or can say root is left out.If the excision is complete it does not grow but if it is not again it can come back. Please see if the corn is back;if corn is completely gone but still you have pain the other possibility is a calcaneal spur which is a small over growth of bone of heal it is also painful when you stand or walk .It can be differentiated by getting a X-ray done.
Please consult your doctor to find the exact reason of pain .
Take care.
