I had an atypical case of SHINGLES March through June

I had an atypical case of SHINGLES March through June 2018 NO rash, only a couple of blisters, pain in left hand and arm. was first diagnosed with broken wrist, not supported by XRays. I am now kept awake at night with extreme itching in my left hand. could there be a relationship. any suggestions to stop itching?

Hi I am so hoping you can give me an answer to the most painful condition I personally have ever experienced. I have a severe case of shingles. It started June 10,2014 and while the blisters have cleared up , the burning is so severe it s making me nauseous and I can t eat. I ve seen a Dr who prescribed Hydrocodone 7.5 ml which didn t help at all and now wants to do an injection in my spine (sorry not sure what it s actually called) to deaden the nerves to stop the pain. At this point, I m in so much pain I ll try anything! I m just so worried it won t work and I m having it done tomorrow ...just need to know it ll work???Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I m 80 years old. My daughter just called me to tell me she went to the doctor and was diagnosed with shingles, an area under her right breast. She spent the weekend here and showed me the red area and showed me the bra she was wearing and I handled it to see if a seam was causing the irritation. Today she went to the doctor who told her she has a case of the shingles. Now am I in danger of catching this. I had chicken pox when I was a child? Thank you for your response.
