I Had A Tumor On My Ovaries But It Was Not Cancerous. How Long Can You Survive Without Even Knowing You Have Ovarian Cancer ?

I am 43 and a few years ago I found out I had a tumor on my ovaries but I was told it was not cancerous. Lately I have had to urinate frequently and I don t have to eat much to fill me up and I have also been extremely bloated. Could I have ovarian cancer? How long can you survive without even knowing you have ovarian cancer?

Hi, I thought I should share my story with u so that you can take your symptoms seriously. A year ago I too was going through the same symptoms as u, I was extremely bloated, couldn't eat much, lost some wait and had lower back and side pain. I went for ultrasounds and endless dr apts , nobody took me serious. Well last year I begged for help and FINALLY he did some blood work and found that my protein level was extremely high. Ask for a CA125 blood test. Normally should be less then 35, mine was 873!......well long sad story short.....I have ovarian cancer, stage 3! Had my dr took me serious a year ago, I wouldnt be in this situation ! My drs to would tell my to eat well, lose wait and drink lots of water! I was bloated due to the cancer fluid increasing. I hope this helps you , I went through he'll and back. Take care of yourself and listen to your body.....through yourself to cancer clinic / hospital.....I did, if didn't I would be dead today.

Hi,thanks for query. Why you think that you are having undiagnosed cancer ? the tumor that you are talking about might a simple ovarian cyst at that time so you might not have been given treatment. The symptoms that you have at present no way point to cancer, they can be due to urine infection and some indigestion problem.Take light diet, more of liquids, avoid spicy foods and junk food.Visit your doctor and go for ultrasound again to remove fear.bye.
