Should I Be Concerned About An Episode Of Similar Sensations That Were Experienced Before Getting A Mini Stroke?

I had a mini stroke last week, I’ve been home for about 4 days. Out of nowhere this evening I began having the same feeling that I had with the stroke so I headed toward the hospital but by the time I got here I began to feel a little better. Should I still get looked at?

Hi,

This is suggesting transient ischemic attack. You need to consult a physician or a neurologist. Get a neck vessel Doppler, hba1c, lipid profile and ECG as needed. Monitor your BP.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bheemaraya D., Internal Medicine Specialist
