Worry if you develop severe pain, even more swelling, and especially loss of pulses in your ankles, and tops of your feet. I f you can move your leg, foot and toes, no pain at rest, and your foot and toes are warm to the touch, your probably good to go. You're generally back to your normal status with in 24 hours.

following catheter ablation for SVT, is swelling of the femoral artery common (length a little larger than a quarter along vessel) where palpation does not seem to indicate either an aneurysm or pseudo aneurysm - and if so, how long does it take to resolve? No pain associated with swelling; insertion site clean no indication of infection. This is first procedure so do not think it is a septic bolus either.

My 14 year old son woke up with a red rash on his chest and side. Then it developed on the inside of his arms and later his elbows. The rash itched and burned when the sun would hit it. The next day it was mostly gown but what remained looked like a 5 day old bruise. Each day the rash developed on different parts of his body and go way leaving a bruising spot. The ER doctor had no idea what it could be.
