Hi, the tooth may be impacted. Please continue taking the medicines. Betadine gargles along with warm saline gargles after every meal will give you temporary relief. The infection will subside after 3-4 doses of the medicines. Please do not worry. Antibiotics take some time to control the infection. Take care!

thanks for choosing healthcaremagic.the gums has swollen because of ongoing infection process not because of medicines given to you.Just one dose of antibiotic is hardly enough to produce any effect. The infection will come under control and swelling will subside but it will talk couple of days in normal do not worry continue the medicines and have soft diet.
