I got the shingles shot about a month ago. I developed a red rash over most of my body, and still have it. There are tiny little bumps all over my skin. My doctor gave me predisone which slowed it down, but after that wore off the itching and bumps are back. Is this normal? Will it go away? Is there anything I can take for this? Thank you.

I got,the shingles, vaccine 7 days ago and have a rash at the site which is about 2 inches in diameter. I know this is a side effect and I know how to treat it. My question is that my 5 month old grandson is coming to visit this weekend on Friday which would be day 10 after the vaccine. Am I contagious to him?

I have had shingles 3 times before, all diagnosed by a doctor. two years ago I got the shot. Now I broke out with the shingles on my behind cheeks and between my legs. I am going to call my doctor tomorrow.. It is very painful and itchy and yesterday started getting blisters. Could this be something else?

I had Shingles 10 years ago. Behind my ear and down my neck. Lasted a month. I got the Vaccine when I turned 60 I am now 63. I have a spot in just about the same spot it started 10 years ago, it appeared 2 days ago now I have 2 more. Just wondering if I have a herpes virus or if I have Shingles again.
