I fell down slippery step hitting on my hips. Nothing

I fell down slippery step hitting on my hips. Nothing seems to be broken and I applied ice and took ibuprofen for several days while resting laying in bed or on couch. 3 weeks later I still have a LARGE bump on the muscle , no pain, but the bump has not gone down completely and is solid feeling. Should I apply heat to the area? The bruising has almost dissapred.

I fell down in my garage approx. 3 wks ago. Landed on my hip. No bruising, doesn t hurt to the touch but it hurts when I lift my leg to take normal steps. Getting hard to walk. No pain when sitting down. Can sit Indian Style with no problem. It feels like something is hurting deep inside the far right side of my quad and glute on the leg that hit the ground. I m 46 years old - - just to rule out fractured hip - calcium deficiency :-).

My 1 year old son fell down the front porch (3 steps) and hit his head audibly hard on the cement below. He cried for nearly an hour after that and was inconsolable, and developed a rather large bump over/behind his left ear. Once he calmed down he ate his dinner fine, was alert, ran around normally, giggled and babbled like normal. I am still a little concerned about a possible skull fracture. Are my worries unfounded, or should I see a doctor tomorrow (he s down for the night now)?
