I Feel Sputum In My Throat Occasionally And I Have Mucus Discharge From My Nose
i am 38 years, man living in cold climate. i have problem in my throat and i feel sputum in my throat occasionally. moreover i have mucus discharge from my nose through nose and throat. i am not smoker and non drinker.

Hi,
People living in cold climate do experience this sort of problem. It is because of the blockage of the sinuses following congestion of nasal mucosa. There is also possibility of acid reflux into the throat which can cause similar type of problems. I would advice you to drink plenty of warm water, do steam inhalation 2-3 times/day, try saline nasal drops 3 drops 3-4 times/day (if you are having nasal block only). Avoid oily/spicy food/coffee/tea for few days. If the symptoms do not improve please consult your ENT specialist.
