It's caused by a sudden drop in blood pressure. Some people experience that when they go from lying down to sitting or sitting to standing suddenly
It actually has a name: orthostatic hypotension. Maybe you should ask a doctor about it.

When I do the stairs, I get light headed, dizzy and my heart feels like it s beating really hard and fast. It fells like I can feel it in my throat because it s so hard. I also begin to get a headache if I do too many stairs. Why is this happening? I don t feel like this even after 45 minutes on the eliptical machines at the gym.
I m 28 years old and have chronic anxiety disorder. I know it may seem silly for me to ask the question that I am asking because rapid heartbeat is symptom of panic attacks. But this time, I was just laying on the couch, relaxing and my heart started to pound and beat fast (104 bpm) When I stood up, I felt light headed and my heart rate when up even more. I checked my blood pressure and it is normal. I did use my inhaler earlier in the evening, but that was hours ago and this is still going on. Anyone have any answers, please!

I have seen my gp on several occasions and they have done bloods, function tests and an ultrasound of which all ate normal. I have no blood in urine. I am 36 female with a 2 year child. I am a non smoker. I am getting seriously worried about bladder cancer. Please help.
