I feel like my heart is racing all the time

I get these strange chest pains pretty frequently now (before they would be every once in a while). It starts on the right side of my chest, kinda high and close to my shoulder , then the pain radiates to my right shoulder and down my right arm. It s pretty painful, and I can t use my right arm for the few minutes that they last. Whenever they come, I can feel my muscles knot right above where they start, and I feel like my heart is racing all the time, not just when I have the pains. Can anyone tell me what this is? I m not sure if it s heart problems, because it s on my right side. Any help? I have gone to the doctor? She put it off as stress and ignored my worry. Sorry, that should be I have gone to the doctor! , with an exclamation point!

heart problems can be felt anywhere in your body, your face, chest, back...have a Dr test your thyroid, (ANA) for Lupus, for MS, for diabetes....heart problems usually start with something else...if you don't eat correctly or exercise too much, you may have depleted your salt/potassium levels...have some gatorade...(don't drink so much caffine, in coffee, tea or soda...)

I am a 24 and a half year old white female with 3 children ages 4 and under. My heart rate is normally on the higher side when I am pregnant and that s pretty much the only time I ever check it. But I ve been checking it a lot the past few days and every time it s been between 101-109bpm. Even after just waking up after sleeping. Sometimes I do feel like my heart is racing. Is this something I should get checked out by a doctor?

9yr old daughter s heart is racing, pounding. She is complaining of pressure on middle of chest. She says it feels like someone is pushing on her chest. Is it just an anxiety attack or should I take her to the dr immediately? This is the second time in the last 24 hrs. She said it happened for the first time in middle of night last night.

I have had two episodes of heart racing, first time my heart rate was 220 and the second 190. Both times I was given something through i.v to stop and restart my heart. Since the first time I have what feels like fluttering in my heart. I am on Beta Blockers - 5mg once in the morning and 5mg at night. I was on synthroid for my thyroid but the first time I had the racing I was told to stop taking the medicine. The Dr. has now out me on Teva-Gabapentin but it does not seem to be helping either. Help!!

My brother is having a heart cath tomorrow. Apparently he has had a heart attack sometime in the last ten years.

His heart rate has become uncontrollable with meds and sontinues to beat at 131. He said the doctor told him some rate (he couldn't remember) was at 25 and should be higher. Can you perhaps clarify what this may mean?

My father had a heart attack 4 months ago in Russia and after unsuccessful angeoplasty attempt, his emergency doctor had treated him beside other things with Plaviks, Lipitor, Metoprolol-all of which he continues to take todate. Cardio-care is no longer available to him, and he is under immence muscle weakness and pain. His blood test established high levels of creatine. What is his best plan to balance between his heart medications and other health concerns? Can he stop the cholesterol drug and replace it with something else? Thank you for your help.

I live in a cigarette smoking building--I am very allergic to it or sensitive--my heart jumps in my chest at times, then beats up to 120 beats a minute. I'm trying to move, but it's very expensive and I dont have a job. My grandfather died of a heart attack at 78-he was a chain smoker, so not a lot of heart disease on my mom's side. I didnt know my fathers side of the family. Actually my uncle died of a massasive heart attack at 48--Im 47--that was on my mom's side.
