Sure. Take your pulse at your wrist and see if it is also irregular, that should tell you.
The other thing that can happen is that your neck muscles can twitch on their own under certain circumstances, but you should be able to put your hand on the muscle and feel it twitch if this is the case, or even see it in the mirror.

Hello, my name is Destanie, and this past weekend I went to Hawaiian Falls with a friend!! I went down a slide that was fast and scary and I screamed! At that moment I was chewing gum, and the gum ended up going down my windpipe.. I felt fine, but all of a suddent I feel this strange pain on the side of my neck near the front on my right side, it s painful to swallow but only on one side, and I kind of hold my tongue different inside of my mouth because of that pain... is it possible that the gum may have damaged something as it went down? Or could something be developing there? I m not sure if I should seek medical help or what, but all I know is it hurts and it s extremely uncomfortable! Please help!!
having abdominal discomfort on my left side and burping a lot. also an intense feeling of nervousness like my heart is beating to hard or too fast. My throat is dry and my muscles feel like cramping. Most of this happens during the morning or whenever I wake up.
I noticed recently after having a sore throat that my uvula is now curved. It is rubbing up against the side of my tonsils making it feel like I have cotton stuck on that side. Also I have notice when I speak my voice gets tired and I have to clear my throat a lot.
