I experience burning in the rib cage. I had a surgeon check my esphogus and it is fine. This past summer it was better, but now it returns daily. Could it be a food intolerance or allergy? it seems to be hard to tell since I eat so many different foods at each meal. It is worse now that wheat and dairy are put back into my diet. I have a pretty low stress life right now.
