Our new home blood pressure cuff is showing my wife s pressures systolic ranging from 180-210, and diastolic 90-110 (fairly consistent for about a week). She has been having severe headaches for about 10 days. She has seen her phyician twice, Dr. doesn t seem too concerned with these readings because it wasn t that high in her office. Had an MRI today but won t get result till next week. We are getting nervous about the high BP readings..

I work at a pharmacy and there is one of those blood pressure machines that I use often to check my blood pressure. Usually, these are the results: Diastolic - 140 Systolic - 75 BPM - 55 I know that a healthy blood pressure is 120/80, so the 140 concerns me. Is that too high, and should I see a doctor? I am 21 years old and in otherwise good health, exercise regularly and follow a moderately healthy diet. I do eat too much sodium, and I know that s something I need to work on. I think that my heart rate is low because I do a lot of cardio training, and HIIT (high intensity interval training).

But today morning all of a sudden he felt pain( ranging between mild and severe) in the left side of the chest and weakness accompanied by sweating and numbness throughout his body. And he complains of left arm pain once in a while. He is not obese, not diabetic, does exercise and don t have any bad habits.

Hi, a couple of years ago, after much complaining about chest pains my family doctor finally had x-ray and C-Scan of my chest. Result was mild mitral valve prolapse and mild diastolic dysfunction. He told me not to worry, but I do!!! I get dizzy, and still have pains. Shouldn t I be taking meds for this?? Perhaps I need to see a Specialist rather than Internal Medicine doc.?? I am female and just had 69th birthday ... am in good health otherwise. What s your take????
