I cant sleep with closed mouth and i have Congential heart disease

I sleep with my mouth open everynight and it s really getting annoying because I get so much yucky stuff in my mouth. I ve been doing this ever since I was little, but I wanted to do something about it. Like one of these days, I m just going to tape my mouth shut so I can breathe through my nose while I sleep. But I have congenital heart disease . I asked my parents that but they were like no way, don t do that because then I can t breathe. They mean since I have CHD, i need all the oxygen I can get, and taping my mouth will make it worse to get my oxygen. Heck I can t wear contact lenses because they block the oxygen from going into my eyes and I get more tired as usual (but thats a different story) I was just wondering if is it good or not to tape my mouth shut while i sleep and knowing the fact that i have CHD? Thanks in advance

Don't even think about taping your mouth, I am no joking, you may even died, or wake up with a painful lack of breath. Talk to your doctor to find a better way to solve your problem, "1 person 1 life" don't mess around with your life, no second chance.

My husband had steriod injections in his feet. Within hours his heart beat from 51 per minute went to over 100. They took him in saying he had had a heart attack, though subsequent tests including an angiogram, showed no blockages etc.BP. 132 over 72.He was put on clopidrogel to thin his blood and now it is so thin if he cuts himself he cant stop the bleeding. He was to have an op to repair the bones in his feet and because of this drug they cannot operate. They say he has to stay on this for a year (7months to go). Meanwhile he is on crutches. Never ever before had these problems till the steroids.

My daughter was diagnosed with transient tachypnea 6 days ago after birth. Another x ray today revealed no improvement with reduction of fluid on lungs and a drop in saturated oxygen was observed. Doctors have put her back on oxygen and told me another week to clear. This seems a very long time for TTN to be a problem.....? What else could be issue?

My niece has been hospitalized since yesterday because she was throwing up blood and she got 2 blood transfussions yesterday and one today. The doctor said she has no iron at all and she has been having trouble breathing so she is now getting oxygen. What can these symptoms mean? The doctors say they still don't know what it is but they are running blood tests.
