I banged my head about three weeks ago and still i have vertigo
i banged my head about three weeks ago and for about a week i felt sick and dizzy this however went away with rest. a couple of days later the symptoms cam back and i still have them. im not as bad as i was it seems to have settled at a steady level now where i feel i throbbing sensation which then makes me dizzy and a slight pressin feeling in my head. at the time of injury i did not lose consciousness and there are no cuts bumps or dents. i hit the back of may head on brick and it feels a bit like vertigo now. can you tell me what this is and what to do as i am due to fly to cyprus in two weeks and am slightly worried i wont be able to if its serious. i have been off cigarettes and depression medication for two weeks and im not sure if this is playing a part
You may have had a concussion after you recieved the head trauma.Ideally you should have had a CT scan immediately. However,i suggest that you have that CT asap .You need to rule out incranial bleeding/cerebral edema.Without a normal CT i would not advise you to fly.

I started having vertigo several weeks ago along with my ear closing. I was told it was sudden hearing loss. Since then I have been taking prednision. 6 days ago I had a episode of vertigo whilst doing yoga for over 1 hour. It occurred when I attempted to get into a sitting position after doing several floor exercises etc. I was able to get to my feet and I seemed to be ok. I spent all the following day on the bed sleeping on and off. My head felt a bit foggy. This foggy feeling cleared but it was only at night on going to bed that I realised I still had a problem with the vertigo when I turned to my side or sitting up. I am more mucousey than normal and a it congested in the nose and sinus. I was a bit foggy in head yesterday and again today. I have had this 12 months ago in March 2015 but it cleared after 2 days and I have not had problem since till last Saturday and that will be a week ongoing tomorrow. What are your thoughts. Do I need some antibiotics.? ???

can a concussion somehow be linked to diarrhea? my son fell and hit his head about 24 hours ago, he had a bad headache for about 3 hours afterwards. he felt better this morning, but throughout the day his headache has gotten worse again, and he now has diarrhea, and he vomited once. this is about 24 hours later. could it just be coincidence?
My doc told me that I m having Intestinal pseudoobstruction & advised using enema fleet once every 3-4days. Btw, I m a tetraplegia due to spinal cord injury 14yrs ago & underwent a sub-total colostomy a year ago. Before the intestinal operation, I had to use suppositories every day over the 13years. After the intestinal operation, my bowel movement was like 3 to 4 times a day which I had no control over it. And now no bowel movement without enema fleet. My question is, is it ok for my body in the long run if I clear my bowel movement once every 3 to 4 days? Is it better for my body if I were to clear my bowel movement daily using suppositories (Like in the past)?
A door and my left forehead collided Thursday morning. I do have a concussion. Haven t been to emergency. My head still hurts; feels like it does with a fever. Feel pressure around my left eye. Eyes feel better closed. Is this natural progression of a concussion or should I got emergency?
