I awoke with an acute unilateral swelling in the lacrimal

I awoke with an acute unilateral swelling in the lacrimal region under my right eye. I have had dry burning eyes for the past few days which I believed was related to seasonal ragweed allergy and lack of sleep. I do not have any tearing, discoloration. My sinuses seem clear. I am not ill. I have had mild allergies this season.

I have a swollen inferior lacrimal puntum on my right eye. I rubbed my eyes a couple days ago and noticed that I may have rubbed too hard. Anyway, this morning it was slightly swollen and uncomfortable. I use eye drops almost daily. I put a warm washcloth on my eye this morning and it looked like the swelling developed a small whitehead. I tried to drain it and a little bit of fluid came out. What is this and how do I get rid of it?

Okay so I was looking at my eye where the lacrimal caruncle is. The pink corner of eye close to the nose. There was a spot where it looks like when the goop of your eye is but this time it was coming out of the middle of it. Like when you have a blackhead and squish it out. Color is a light yellow whitish mix. I thought it was eye goop stuck there but when it used some tweezers I felt pain. So its definably part of my body. I have no swelling, it isn t bothering me. (It wasn t inflamed but did so after I touched it. So my own fault not part of the symptoms) I ve looks to try and see other pictures on this to see if perhaps it would match to anything. But nothing seemed to match. It feels much like a tear, mixed with a zit sort of look and feel. I don t know what it is.

I have a blocked lacrimal duct and I received Ciproflox drops and Augmentin to take orally. I saw the doctor yesterday and started the medicine then. When can I expect my eye to start clearing up? I still have a lot of swelling especially in my eyelid and it s very red.
