I do have acid reflux and I am not sure if its gas or symptoms of a heart attack . Now its starting to keep me awake at night. I have been to the doctor before and they found nothing. go back to the doctor soon. tell him the symptoms are increasing in severity and you need further tests. gas, as you put it, can cause shoulder blade and neck pain. there are many possible causes for these aches and pains, and your doctor should refer you on for further investigations. good luck and good health to you.

Hello, I live an active lifestyle with a considerably healthy diet but recently I have taken up yet another activity to attempt to tone my torso area which is Hula-Hooping. Like with anything else I started slowly over a few months and now have 10 minutes a night with the Hula-Hoop workout. Recently after only a few minutes I have been suffering central chest pains causing me to stop. The pains do go after a few minutes of stopping but as soon as I start again the pain returns. I live abroad in a country where I do not speak the language comfortably to approach a doctor here, therefore your guidance would be appreciated. I have no history of Asthma or any other medical condition I feel you should be aware of and my family s medical history is clear too. thank you

Hi, Im 36 year 5ft 7in height, 14 stones and swim 2 times a week, healthry eat of 80% veg / salads in the last 6 months via resturants due to work. I sleep 4-6 hours a night but suffer with sometimes with heavy heart beats when swimming that I have to stop and let my breath slow back to when I started, same with pulse, when sitting at work or at the hotel or home on weekends, I get an ache feeling in my heart area but my heart rate is fine or may skip sometimes but I think that could be normal. I get dizzy when the ache feeling but I start my yoga breathing to gain control and relax, stretch and imagine im by a river doing yoga to help. If I do do this, it will still go after 10 mins, not lasting longer than 20 mins. I sit at my desk allot as a manager but try to move around, stretch and laugh to help me relax more and enjoy the day so to limit stress. Any thoughts?

Yes, I have a 13 yr old that has been vomiting and has had constipated/diarrhea for a month now. She has been seen by her physician and was prescribed Prilosec and miralax. She appears to be full of stool ( according to her x-ray). She is still having dull stabbing pain in her stomach and is still vomiting daily. She expresses vomiting is not always with nausea. I hope she will not need an endoscopy. I am wondering if it s GERD or IBS. Thanks for your response.

Hi. I am a 35 years old female. I don't exercise at all, i smoke but very actively working as a sales rep that sees clients at different places. I recently lost 40 pounds dieting alone within a year. Late this year, i experienced acid reflux too. After that, i began having palpitations, breathlessness (occassional and short) and nausea. The nausea one time took me a week getting over. I had ekg done, 78bpm is the result. I had blood tests and urinalysis done, cleared. I am a panicky person and a worrier too. What is wrong with me?

I am a 34 year old male and I play a lot of sports and stay in real good shape, I was dignosed with acid reflux disease a few months ago. I have noticed for the last few weeks that while trying to sleep my heart will beat hard and faster like when you have a bad dream, it happens a couple times a week and only lasts a few minutes. While I am awake it never seems to bother me. I have been checking my blood pressure and it has been running lower than normal 125/60s or lower 70s. It normally runs a little high

I am a 26 year old female and I have been diagnosed with acid reflux since I was a teenager. Over the last week and a half I have been having symptoms I am not really used to. I didnt know if it was because my acid reflux is getting worse or if it was something else going on possibly. It started with the normal nauseous feeling under my breastbone. Normally I can feel better when I eat and of course take medications. After a couple of days it turned into feeling a lot of pressure in my chest like a heavy feeling. I also started feeling bloated under my breastbone to the point where it was hard to breathe. Now since last night I have had a bad pain in my left arm, shoulder, and neck. Acid reflux has never been this bad for me before, but I was wondering if all of this can be symptoms of acid reflux. I have no insurance. Im only 26 and pretty healthy so I didnt think it was anything to do with my heart. Could I be wrong?
