A psychologist near your place of residence would be an appropriate choice. There seem to be quite a few issues which need sorting out. Don’t hesitate to get the physical issues attended at the same time

My 16 year old daughter is suffering from a terrible headache that she claims has been ongoing for about a week. She reports that it s mostly in the back of her head near the cervical spine and that the pain comes and goes in intensity and travels around to different locations in her head. She is a wrestler and a soccer player. She has mild scoliosis. She notices pain in her eyes at times as well. She wears contacts. Coach sent her home today - said she looked pale and saw her hanging her head in pain. I m worried. Not sure if this is something minor that will pass or something more serious. Perhaps there are some at home remedies I can try to help in hopes it will pass? Thank you. Lisa

I am having severe frontal/over the top of my head headaches. My blood pressure was 144/84 this morning. My normal BP used to be about 124/72 plus or minus 3-4 points. It s been up and down recently. I am currently being treated for compressed cervical discs. Do the headaches relate more to the treatment or the bp? Thanks.

It started with a slight headache which went away after a few days which I thought was due to some business stress . It came back after few days which I thought it was also related to cervical for which I also started having physiotherapy. I am having a headache which is like a tight band or like blocked head since the last 2 months or so. I am also taking a light dose of anti anxiety medicine. Please suggest cure.

I ve had different kinds of shunts since birth. I ve 18 brain surgeries dealing with this since birth. The last 16 of them since 2005, as well as migraines. I ve had every kind of problem with the shunt since 2005 that shows a problem. Except now. My last surgery was done last year. I ve had fevers as high as 100.5 with nausea, pain where the shunts located. Now there s something new. There are red marks around the shunt on the abdomen. Plus a burning sesation though out most of it. My mom(who s an RN) has never heard of this. I m have testing done tomorrow morning. I see the doctor again in 2 days. Do you have any idea why the burning sensation has been here for the past 4 days, & what could be done? Thank You For Your Opinion!

Hello, I am going to see my family doctor tomorrow, and any ideas you may have are welcome. I had a migraine which started on Wednesday and went on through Thursday, including a fever which spiked up and down. Two Frova along with aspirin and acetaminophen is what I took over that timeframe. Even after the headache went, the fever stayed through the end of Friday, so I continued with small doses of acetaminophen and aspirin. Saturday (yesterday) I was without the fever, but very swollen and all my joints hurt. This morning (Sunday) I thought I felt fine. Then I looked in the mirror and discovered that I am covered in a rash from head to toe. Just blotches, not risen. Feels a little scratchy, but the rash isn`t overtly itchy. Any ideas ....

During the last fortnight, my dr. has prescribed magnesium and alpha lipoic for migraines and biotin for dry and split nails. Now my pee smells like i eat brussel sprouts 24 hours a day. Would any of these vitamins cause this odour? I am 50 years old and have stopped having any menopausal symptoms for 1 year. They started at age 44 and now are done. Any idea? Thanks in advance.

My husband was prescribed an additional dose of Lyrica. He was taking two pills in the evening, and was prescribed an additional one in the morning. He suffers from arthritis and nerve based migraines and general nerve pain stemming both from the arthritis and several bulging dics in the neck. My question is this...would the extra dose cause an increase in appetite and an energy spike? Will this ease off? Is this something that he should report to his doctor?
