I Am Suffering Dull Soreness Around Part Of My Pec That Connects To My Armpit/shoulder

Heart Pain -- PLEASE ANSWER ASAP SO I CAN STOP WORRYING ? Look -- I ve made many questions like this one, quite simply because, I m afraid and I don t want to die. Now I m going to say right now: Please do not post here if you are just looking for points or are going to tell me to get to the ER fast. My mom doesn t have enough money for a false alarm. Now, before answering, I m sure all of may information will not fit withen 1000 characters, so please read all of the additional details before answering. Thank you! First off, I am a 14-year old healthy male. Sunday night I felt some pain in my sternum at a party and I panicked. The pain moved to my heart later on at the party. Keep in mind, the pain is not a long drawn-out pain, but more of a random burst of pain that is not anywhere near as painful as a stab would be, but it s the fact that it s happening that counts. I slept fine that night, and experienced more random pains the next day. Slept fine, pain the next day, etc. Until today (Wednesday). PLEASE READ ADDITIONAL DETAILS!!! I noticed that while laying down playing video games I experience little or no pain at all, unlike frequent pain at school. Today I went to the doctor. My blood pressure is 112/80, and the doctor listened to my heart and back using a stethoscope with a blood-cell shaped clear part at the end (The part that touches me). Not sure, but this looks like it might be a good stethoscope which may have let the doctor hear my heart thoroughly... meaning maybe my heart IS fine? THE PAIN: Well, the pain as I said isn t much. I have no tingly arms, nausea , etc. The only thing I can think of is my shoulder hurts in a specific spot the soft spot on top of my shoulder that connects to my back. The pain feels brief and light, but could just be a pulled muscle or something? The doctor after checking my pulse, listening to my heart, etc. Says I could get an EKG in private... but wanted to talk to my mom in private. (At this point I was terrified -- I thought he was going to tell my mom I was about to die and not to tell me or I d have an instant heart attack or something!!!) But my mom told me afterwards that he told her that he didn t think there was any big deal and that I could get an EKG if i wanted -- Implying it was to humor me. Would the doctor really know just from listening to my heart if I was in trouble? WHAT THE DOCTOR DIDNT KNOW: About the pains in other areas such as soft spot in shoulder and a sore back (The back thing went away I think I was just uncomfortable...) If I had EKGs for anxiety attacks a few monthes ago, and the doctor just said today he thought I was fine, do i have any reason to worry? I did -- but it s not for two weeks. By then, I could be dead! I m really scared and just a second ago I felt my heart and the beat seemed to be paused a little between the bum-bum bum-bum like bum--- bum like it was struggling. Then I felt like I WAS having a heart attack but it was just an anxiety attack and Im not sure If I m going to or not until people can help answer me! :( SOMEONE ANSWER THIS SIDE QUESTION: Now my only current pain is a dull soreness around part of my pec that connects to my armpit/shoulder. Is this bad?

Fourteen years is pretty young for any kind of heart attack type thing. You did everything you should do. And your doctor did even more than he thought you needed. I think you can rest assured. It was probably a muscle thing. Don't worry, you're ok. It will get better. Anxiety can make your heart get faster and it can also cause palpitations. So you're probably causing those yourself with your nervousness. Calm down you're ok. Didn't your mom tell you this? If she did, BELIEVE HER! Here is an example of what is probably happening to you... People with panic disorder have feelings of terror that strike suddenly and repeatedly with no warning. During a panic attack, most likely your heart will pound and you may feel sweaty, weak, faint, or dizzy. Your hands may tingle or feel numb, and you might feel flushed or chilled. You may have nausea, chest pain or smothering sensations, a sense of unreality, or fear of impending doom or loss of control.
