I Am Having Very Sharp Pain On Left Side Under Ribs
i am having very sharp pain on left side under ribs... hurts when i move a certian way hurts when i breath deep breaths hurts when i drive... also m stomach has been hurting today.. and cant get confortable when i go to bed..

If pain is of short duration then it may be due to some strain or pulling of chest muscles.
and it is since long then you might have costo chondritis.
Take some analgesics.
Take antacid like Omeprazole for stomach upset.
Avoid fried and junk food.

hi,thanks for query.There could be various reason for this,the commonest the reason being some sort of muscular sprain.As this is associated with movement this is more likely.Apply some local analgesic over the area and take any tablets that suits you orally also.This should help.Take some rest and you will be fine.In case you have chest pain,perspiration,discomfort etc,then you need to see a doctor for examination to see for any cardiac problem.
