I am having throbbing pain on the side of my big toe. Yesterday it only hurt very slightly when the area was touched. A tiny part of it was green, so I soaked it in Epsom salt and sprayed it with hydrogen peroxide twice. This drained the pus out but it still remained a little red and swollen. After I soaked it I forgot it even hurt. Until it was touched then there was very slight pain, but it would go away instantly. Everything went fine the rest of the day, but I woke up tonight with throbbing pain. The pain won't stop. It constantly hurts without being touched, and the redness and swelling is worse than it was yesterday. I am currently soaking it in Epsom salt. It is taking the edge off the pain. The swelling and redness have gone down a little, but it is not giving full relief. The swollen area hurts constantly, and the toenail hurts only when touched. I pulled aside the skin and didn't see a hangnail, and it seems like it is too far down the side to be an ingrown toenail.

Imagine a picture of a heart. Well over a few months now I have noticed that I have a small throbbing pain as if someone was taking a small piece of my heart and compressing just that specific area. However sometimes this pain seems to move around in the general left breast area including just above my ribcage? Any possible answers to what is going on in my body as well as possible solutions is appreciated. I am not overweight. I am 31 years old and I off and on swim so I am in relatively good shape.
