I Am Having Serious Problems With Cough

I am having serious problems with cough. i have taken cough syrups but of no use. I am a bit sensitive to cold overall but recently ,past 7 days it has become worse. I have cold, both throat irritation and sneezing.earlier sputum was yellow or black, but now it is white, and now i have chest pains also.now all the time i cough. I dont smoke. This things usually gets cured within 2 days but this time its taking long. what medicine should i take?

Try taking honey with tulsi leaves and pepper powder. Drink hot milk with turmeric..my grannny gave me for three days after i suffered with this for 2 weeks with no medicines working perfectly..i took them along with my doc's prescription..i was fine in 3 days time..

Yes, usually the cough syrups and medicines make it go away withing two days. Your prolonged symptoms may be due to infection going deep into lungs. You should go for a chest x-ray and examination.

I took Broncodex syrup along with antibiotics...it helped me..Ask your doctor to prescribe for you along with antibiotics.
