hello and wellcome to healthcare forum.
first of all you will require consultation with your doctor to confirm weather you are having mumps or lymph node inflammation.
for mumps, you should not worry as it is a self limiting and take care of oral cavity by rinsing your mouth with warm saline or betadine gargles.
Inflammation of lymph node will require antibiotics and other analgesic treatments.

hello dear mumps is a viral infection and self limiting in nature. It only causes complications in people with low vitality.Orchitis is a common complication.Males past puberty who develop mumps have a 30 percent risk of orchitis.Dont worry just visit your nearby physician.
