I am having around 10 to 15 lipomas on my body. What is the best course of action for growing lipomas ?
Doctor I seem to be having around 10 to 15 lipomas on my body. More on hands and stomach. Very few on legs. Off-late some of them seem to be growing in size. On earlier consultation with a general- surgeon , the doctor mentioned that I can leave worrying about them. But since they seem to be getting larger off-late. What is the best course of action ?

If you are right,then you have multiple lipomatosis and when painful its called dercums disease.However its a beno\ign condition and you need not be worried about it as told by your surgeon.
However,if the swellings becomes painful,increasing in size,or bothering you,cosmetic problem-then you can get a excision biopsy done.

Welcome to HCM.
Your surgeon had advised you correctly, to ignore them.
Now that some of them are increasing in size, better option would be to get an excision biopsy done of one of the lipomas which has increased in size recently.
Occasionally a lipoma may turn malignant. The usual site for lipomas to become malignant are the ones located on the back near neck and shoulder and those in the thigh region.
