i am 31 years old vegetarian since from last 3-4 months there is a chest pain in my left side i had done xray and report shows both the lungs fields and pleural spaces are clear there is no evidence of active infiltrative or exudative parenchymal lung disease Bony opacity is seen arising from medial margin of left scapula -? exostosis i am confused what to do ...

Hi,
This may be present since birth.There is some extra bone from margin of your scapula which is called exostosis.Now there is pain as some nerve might have touching that exostosis .
You do not worry,there is nothing serious you seek advise of orthopedic surgeon.
