Hi, About 3 months ago I hurt my lower back. I babied it and only have stiffness occasionally of a morning. About a week ago the back of my left shoulder, neck area started to bother me. Just discomfort. Now it has moved into my left upper arm and it s more pain than discomfort. Like as I am typing this it hurts. If I put my arm over my head it doesn t bother me. It s when it is down by my side or using my hands in a low position.

I was having lunch on Friday when suddenly, out of the blue, right side of my neck started hurting. I could not turn my head to the right and barely to the left. the pain was only on the right from my shoulder to below my ear. About 6 hours later, I could turn my head slightly and by Sunday I was able to turn it completely. Now there is no more pain and everything turns, but I m wondering what happened? It was so sudden and I ve never had anything like that before.

I have had 2 cervical spine surgeries. The 1st was on C4,5, and 6. The surgery resulted in C4 and T1 to bulge because of the plate. I had to have C4 fused to C5 and now I m scheduled to have exploratory surgery for pseudo-arthrosis of C4. I m now having pain just above the middle of my spine and lower spine. My feet are feeling cold and prickly. Would my symptoms be related to my past surgeries and the pseudo-arthrosis? I am on SSDI AND CAN NOT AFFORD TO PAY.....

Here and there I have gotten patches of goosebumps, but only on the left side of my body. Today it is only on my left forearm . They arise for apx 15-30 secs, then go away. 15-45 mins later I will have a recurrence. I have found some VERY mixed explanations for the cause. As a nursing student, none of them seemed quite accurate. I have had a full blood panel recently and hormone panel recently, all results well within the range of normal. Is there a logical explanation for this? My thought was a pinched nerve in the cervical vertebrae , as I have had mild, ongoing neck issues. So far, this theory has not been given as an explanation.
