hi i have recently been to my doctor for itching ariound my anus the skin had really got inflamed and cracked and bleading it was very painful to pass motions i am diabetic could this be contributed i have suffered with hemeroids in the past i have used cream off the doctor and have now since felt like a hole just outside my anus opening help what could it be

Hello,

You're a Diabetic and have itching, redness and pain with discharge around the anus.
You have history of hemorrhoids in the past.
If may be infected hemorrhoids or anal fissure or perianal sinus.
Control of Diabetes and regular treatment is needed.
NSAID's and antibiotic are required to control pain and infection.
