I am currently taking flomax for urine retention issues. I also have a yeast infection in my groin area and my doctor is recommending i also take an oral fluconazole. I read that fluconazole can interact with flomax and that a reduced level may be required. But it didn't say if I need to reduce the flomax or reduce the fluconazole. What is the recommendation course of action here?

I take Myrbetriq 50mg. and Flomax. I am directed to take the (2) Flomax (Tamsulosin) 0.4mg. daily. What times of the day should I take each medicine. I am 56 yrs. old and I am diabetic and I have had incontinence issues. Each night I still have at least one trip to the bathroom.
I just saw what I think is blood in my urine. I am a 70 yr old male, and have been taking Flomax for 4 1/2 weeks. I just had something with flu like symptoms ending 2 days ago. I have had slight headaches but no bloodpressure problems since starting the Flomax. What causes blood in urine? Could it be side effects from flu or flomax?
I was recently prescribed Flomax to counteract a side effect of Effexor, which I started taking two months ago. I was having trouble urinating before the Flomax. Now, the urination is no problem, but I m feeling nauseated. I was wondering if it could be the Flomax that causes this.
