I am currently taking Citalpram as prescribed by my doctor.

I am currently taking Citalpram as prescribed by my doctor. I have an extremely sore throat - right tonsil sore, even more so to swallow. Throat/tonsil not red or swollen. I'm now taking Paracetamol and ibuprofen every 3-4 hours which is taking the edge of the pain. I've also been gargling with salt water and using difflan spray, but my tonsil is still so sore. I have phenoxymethlpencicillin, which I took when I had tonsillitis at the end of March this year.
Can I take the penicillin with Citalpram?

Hi, I have suffered with depression now on and off for around 10 years since an abusive relationship. My medication had been increased from 20mg citalopram to 40mg in June 2012, and this had worked fairly well until the beginning of the year, when I was tried on a combination of Citalopram and Mirtazepine 15mg, but this over sedated me. Recently, around 5 weeks ago I was prescribed Sertraline 50mg with the Citalpram 40mg. To begin with I felt great, apart from insomnia, I am continuing on the medication but the insomnia continues. I am unable to sleep until around 3am and then I find it hard to get out of bed. I m also experiencing mood changes. Should I be taking this combination? I ve been trying to research it and all the articles I read point to the same conclusion, that they are both serotonin uptake inhibitors and the combination is not recommended? Any advice would be great, Thanks, Mel

I am really in need of some good advise here. I am 153cm tall and weigh 64kgs. the Doctor has given me duromine 15mg for two weeks and 30mg thereafter for three months. i havent started taking these pills as yet as I am slightly nervous. I suffer from anxiety attacks and currently take Azor .5mg per day for it. The pharmacist said that there would be no negative interactions between the two however Id like a few more opinions before i start. Should I experience severe anxiety on Duromine, can I safely combat this with my tranquilisers? Has anyone experienced effects similar to OCD? Id really like to talk to people who have anxiety or other similar mental disorders that have taken Duromine. Looking forward to reading your response. Jade

Hello I ve been prescribed fluxcloxacillin 500mg for 4 times a day and am currently on Cerrazette - last time I was on the antibiotic my doctor said that the two wouldn t interfere with one another . This time however he only asked if I was on the pill and I didn t specify which one so the two will still be fine together ?
