I am a 6ft tall, 300lbs, 47-yr old Black American

I am a 6ft tall, 300lbs, 47-yr old Black American female with with South Carolina & New York roots. I found out around 14 years ago, a little after my fourth child was born, natural delivery, that my uterus was falling out. I have not had it check out any further nor have I been checked out since. I’m experiencing lightheadedness, shortness of breath, poor circulation, periodic uncomfortable thumping of the heart, contrasting temperatures to one extreme or the other, forgetfulness (neiborhoods I’ve frequented and feelings thus far...maybe names of things or people and thoughts I just had). My menstrual cycle has been very irregular for a few years, but there was a time when it was extremely heavy whenever it decided to grace my presence, now not so much and the cycles are much farther apart. There are sections of my hair that have broken short to about 3/4 of an inch from my scalp and the scalp beneath those sections are painful to the touch, the rest of my hair is dry, damaged and breaking off in large amounts whenever I wash, comb and or brush it. So, my question: What is going on with me?

Hi, I am 52 years old, weigh 124 lbs and am 5 8 tall. I am very healthy and have annual executive physicals about every 2 years. My AST level was 28 and my ALT level was 18 during my last physical in 2009. I just had blood work done last week to start hormonal treatment and my AST level came back at 47. Is this serious? Can I lower AST levels through diet?

Hi, Dr. Kondekar I have a 9 year old son. We are african american but he has a fair complexion. I ve always been able to see his veins to a certain extent. However, today I noticed that the blue veins were very visible. they are not raised or anything but they are so visible and dark that they look as though someone has drawn on him with a marker! I can see the vies in his stomach, chest and arms (all the way down his forearms). Is this something i should look further into? What kinds of things cause this? Thank you in advance for your help!
