Can Ongoing Pain In My Thoracic Spine Area Worsen After Bravo Device Placement In The Esophagus?
I am a 58 year old female with ongoing pain in my thorasic spine area. I have had physical therapy and xrays with no help. this has been going on for almost 3 yrs. I have been to a spine specialist who said it has to do with my rib cage and a nerve. Well this problem comes and goes nothing seems to help at all. I just had a Bravo device placed in my asphagus and the pain is back terrible when I swallow food. Do you have any idea what this could be and if there is any hope that I can get rid of this problem. Thank you for your time.
Since you mentioned that a spine specialist has already assessed your condition, it may be worthwhile to seek a second opinion from another specialist who can further evaluate your symptoms and medical history. Additionally, it may be helpful to get imaging tests such as an MRI or CT scan to get a more detailed look at your spine and surrounding structures.
Your symptoms of pain when swallowing food after the Bravo device placement may be related to the device or the procedure, and it is important to follow up with your healthcare provider to address this issue. Overall, it is difficult to determine the exact cause of your pain without a proper medical evaluation. However, it is important to continue seeking medical attention to address your ongoing symptoms and to explore all possible treatment options.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
