Is Joint Pain Associated With Fibromyalgia?

I am a 57 year old male. I have a history of joint issues. 5 back surgeries (lower disc) and both shoulders. My knees are not great either (had scopes when I was younger). I have significant aching pain in my hips and knees that comes and goes throughout the year. I have a sister with Fibromyalgia and recently and nephew has been diagnosed. I have wondered if it is arthritus or if I am also having symptoms of Fibromyalgia.

Hello,

For you no need to doubt. It is not fibromyalgia. The pattern itself is not of fibromyalgia. It may be due to spondylosis and arthritis.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Christy J Thundiparambil, Ayurveda Specialist
