I Am A 52 Year Old Female Who Is 5

I am a 52 year old female who is 5 feet 4 inches tall, and 125 lbs. I have no history of high blood pressure, but have a very rapid resting heartrate that sometimes feels like my heart is pounding. I also have swelling in my feet and ankles, and my feet do turn blue when sitting. When I am active, I do not experience any of these issues. My doctor tends to dismiss when I share concerns that something may be wrong with my heart, because I am not overweight, I don't smoke and I am physically active and have no issues when exercising. I do feel tightness in my chest as well from time to time. Should I push to get an appointment with a cardiologist, or get a heart scan?
