I am a 51 year old Male who had shingles

I am a 51 year old Male who had shingles about two and a half weeks ago. I developed double vision that is vertical. I have been extremely fatigued for the past two and a half weeks and sleep approximately 20 hours a day. I am dizzy when I change positions and have vomited. I have no appetite and have not eaten any means during this time period. I have not been drinking much liquid either so when I vomit I dry heave or vomit bile.

I m 80 years old. My daughter just called me to tell me she went to the doctor and was diagnosed with shingles, an area under her right breast. She spent the weekend here and showed me the red area and showed me the bra she was wearing and I handled it to see if a seam was causing the irritation. Today she went to the doctor who told her she has a case of the shingles. Now am I in danger of catching this. I had chicken pox when I was a child? Thank you for your response.

My question is regarding shingles/chickenpox and times of being contagious. 1st my mother in law was diagnosed with shingles, three weeks later my niece broke out with chickenpox who lives with my mother in law. My 8 week old daughter whom I breast feed was watched in the same home yesterday for 8 hours. My niece broke out later that night. I am concerned for my daughter. Is it just a waiting game now?

i am a hairdresser and a customer had a rash at her bra line under her arm. i sent her to the doctor who then said she had shingles. she had told me she had the rash for a week.she called after the doctor visit and said he put her on medicine and also stress medicine, and she claims shes not contagious if shes covered. i am worried because she was in the blistered state not scabbed over. i had shingles six years ago. is she contagious should i let her get her hair done next week?
