I am a 45 year old woman experiencing BP issues.Since August being treated for high blood pressure ( before then was low 140/ 80 range climbing in last few years ) - have been on 3 different medications Amlodipine Besylate (current 10 mg) ,Bupropion Hcl Sr 150 mg - second when i started felling pressure , Valsartan- first one worked with side effects last 2 have seemed to not bring down my BP and am having weird feelings in my left arm ,neck like a pressure - head is always "foggy" or feels pressure - ears popping a bit now too - did have a cold last 2 weeks - am a smoker ( cut to 20 a day from 3 packs a day since august - stopped caffeine intake since august - 2 cups a coffee a day only , never really used much salt , conscious now of products bought containing salt , do drink about 4 beers a night) have seen doctor almost every month. looking up on line makes it worse - afraid maybe there is another condition ( friends scared me with saying aneurysm that could be causing BP issue ) have told current doctor all of this - just seem to be given a new pill each time. Before this went to doctor once a year for check up for quite some time maybe 10 years or so no real health issues - have a mitro valve prolapse and reoccurring hidradenitis suppurativa since i was 16 . All Blood work in September 2016 came back good.wondering if i should be asking or telling the dctor something different or asking for some other tests ?
