I am 32 yrs old & from past few years my hands were shaking. What could be the cause & treatment for this ?

Hi Doctor , My Name is Jamil and i am 32 yrs old, i noticed that in the few past years (4 years almost) my hands were shaking but i thought that the reason is the long tine i spend at work, but lately this year my hands became shaking abnormally which makes me sometimes feel shy if i am invited to business lunch. Can you advice me ?

Hi Jamil,

Welcome to HCM.
Are you asthmatic? If yes then the medicines for asthma e.g. Salbutamol can cause tremors of the fingers.
If not asthmatic, you should get your thyroid function tests done. Thyroid diseases are know to cause tremors.
Calcium deficiency can also lead to tremors.
