Hi,
Welcome to HCM,
I can understand anxiety due to the illness, If you are recently diagnosed hypothyroidism, then please continue the treatment with thyroxine supplementation with periodic check up of Thyroid functions.
The dose of supplements can be increased according to report of TSH.
The other drug is vitamin and supplements that are required for synthesis of thyroid hormone.
If we take thyroxine supplementation than endogenous TSH production is reduced and it will come to normal do not worry at all.
If there is no other disease then there are no complications as long as medicines are tolerated and you continue to take them regularly.
Treatment is for long duration many times this is lifelong.
Take care.
Good Luck.
