Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
hi

thanks for your question.

it would be unusual to have a lump around the knee joint after foot surgery and in would question whether the limp is related to the surgery at all.

any mass in the limbs deserves investigation starting with a history and physical examination followed by X-rays and other scans if necessary.

best wishes
