How To Withdraw From Zoloft?

My prescription for Zoloft 50mg has expired. I am awaiting refill from doctors office, but have been 4-5 days without it, and I m experiencing a lot of dizziness. When my doctors office calls it in, can I just start taking it? I had wanted to wean off of it but know cold turkey isn t a good idea. At this point is there any Zoloft left in my system?
