How To Withdraw From Metoprolol Succinate?

I m weaning off metoprolol succinate. Been taking 100 mg until a month ago when the pill was cut in half.. I m ready to take it to the next level at 25mg.. problem is can I cut the pill which I already halved.. Changed doctors and now I see a naturopathic doctor who does not write prescriptions
