How To Undergo Knee Replacement Mediated Pain Management While Resistant To Hydrocodene?

I had total knee replacement on Nov 19 and am still having a lot of pain. I cannot take anti inflammatory medication as it upsets my stomach. I even have trouble sleeping so being tired makes pain worse. My question is what would you recommend taking at night so I can at least get a good nights sleep? I have taken hydrocodene and that has always helped in the past but does not seem to be helping now. Doctor thinks it is nerve pain and he recommended a patch, but after reading about it am not really comfortable trying it at this point.

Hi,

I have read your problem.

You doctor has rightly recommended patch, you should not treat yourself by your own, but you should treat yourself by advise of doctor which he already gives you.

You must trust your doctor.

Patch will decrease pain as it slowly release the painkiller in required amount only.

I hope you have get your answer.

Thanks,
