Keep getting reoccurring BV. I need to see gyno this week to see what I have but this time outside of vagina inflamed, itchy and discharge.Right now it s only a little bit of discomfort and yellow discharge .Two months ago I was diagnosed with hpv as well. I m 21

Since you are going to see a specialist, please make sure that you follow the instructions. Do not douche or use strong soap solutions to clean the genital region. Instead, use a mild antiseptic solution. Avoid sexual intercourse without barrier protection until you are healed well. Avoid tampons. To reduce the swelling over the vaginal area, cold compress can be used. You may also need systemic antihistamines to reduce the itching. Your sexual partner also needs to be examined and treated if necessary. You would need prophylaxis to avoid recurrence. Please inform your doctor that you have contracted HPV to enable proper management. Wish you good health.
