Hi, Thanks for using HCM.

A mild amount slimy white discharge is a normal mucosal discharge from the vaginal mucosa. If the discharge is clear, small in amount, without any foul smell and increases and decreases according to your menstrual cycle then it is absolutely normal discharge and there is nothing to worry. Mild itching could be suggestive of a fungal infection.
Simple itching could be due to some allergy or otherwise.

Please maintain good local hygiene, wear more of cotton clothes, avoid tight fitting clothes.

In most of the case this should solve your problem.

Still if you have any problem, it is best to visit a gynecologist and get your self examined. The gynaecologist might send the vaginal swab (discharge) for wet mount examination, whiff test, along with culture and sensitivity and might start you on antibiotic empirically while awaiting the results
Once the right treatment is completed, your symptoms should subside.

I hope this answers your query,
Regards,
